Disneyland Update

It's now Friday and we are leaving for the happiest place on earth on Monday!! For those of you that aren't good at math, that's only 3 more days!! Ahhhhhh! It's extremely exciting and I can barely hold in my enthusiasm! I even convinced my mom to buy us girls matching Mickey Mouse t-shirts! They are quite adorable if I must say so myself. I also tried with no avail to get my dad and Bryce matching shirts, but I was assured that they would not be worn anyway, so what's the point? It's kind of pathetic how much I am looking forward to this trip, but considering the fact that I haven't been to Disneyland since I was a wee little 4 year old, I think it's ok. Some day I will take my own children to Disneyland and I will probably be just as excited then as I am now.

While in Disneyland, I plan to ride every ride I can find, despite the long lines to enter them. I am also determined to get an autograph from any and all famous characters I lay my eyes on. I want to find a cool souvenir that everyone will be jealous of when I get home and flaunt it. I will take pictures, take pictures, and take more pictures! My hopes are also high for some good food.

Amid all of my joy I also have a few worries. A very long car ride could unfortunetely result in a very sick me. I have been known for getting car sick, but hopefully I can sleep alot and keep myself occupied while I am awake so that isn't an option. Another one of my lovely qualitites is my uncanny ability to fry every time I spend time outside. It is almost guaranteed that I will get sunburnt, I only wish that it won't be too bad and that my many layers of sunscreen will prove useful.

I am also looking forward to seeing my amazing, fabulous, wonderful aunts Barbie and Shelly when we stay at their house the last two days of our trip. Because they live in California it isn't very often that we get to spent time with them, so that will most definitely be the icing on a very delicious cake for me.

Overall, it is going to be a vacation to remember and the last thing I have to say is...

DISNEYLAND HERE I COME!

Foam Day!

We went to Lehi's annual Foam Day on Saturday, and we had a blast! Our two cousins Kymbr and Kalli came with us and I met up with a bunch of my friends. If you don't know what Foam Day is, the Lehi Fire Department comes and sprays foam out of their hoses for everyone to play in! They also have blow up bounce houses, music, booths, and, of course, food! This is the 3rd year they have done it, and it is a big hit! We got really dirty and I got sunburnt pretty bad, but it was worth it!

My friends and I were hanging out around the camera guy being crazy hoping to make the newspaper, and we succeeded! This is the picture that was in the Daily Herald with the article about Foam Day!

It's mainly of my friend Kezlyn, but I'm to her right and my friend Ashley is the girl turned around next to me! We don't know who the boy is....

So, overall we had a really great time and if you've never been to Foam Day you should definitely plan to go next year!

Today's Events

Today was a bit of a crazy day! I woke up at 8:00, which is very unusual for me considering how I can sleep until noon, and I went to the first day of my basketball camp at Lehi High. After 2 1/2 hours of various drills and exercises I think it is safe to say that I am out of shape! My legs are sore already and I still have 4 days left, but I am enjoying playing basketball again.

After my camp, I hustled home and jumped in the car with my dad and we went over to Thanksgiving Point to see Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2. It was my second time seeing it because I went to the midnight showing the day it came out, but it was even better the second time! Probably because I was sitting in a better seat today!

When we got home, I quickly showered and we left for the zoo!! I love the zoo, but it's especially fun when the animals are active and put on a show for us! Today was definitely a nice day, and the animals were loving it! The monkeys were all hilarious, and the tigers were swimming in their pool right next to the glass! We saw lots of cool things including a very angry gorilla that actually hit the glass with his fist when my dad and Bryce walked by!

Following our lovely trip to the zoo, we went down the rode to Red Robin for dinner, and it was, of course, DELICIOUS! Then to top it all off I went shopping with my mom for a few hours!

Overall, it was a GREAT day today and I had so much fun with my family! More excitement is to come tomorrow!

Finally blogging again!

Well, I think it's safe to say that it has been FOREVER since I've blogged! Almost a whole year! A lot happens in a year, and I'm not even going to try to catch up on everything. I will, however, mention a few things. I finished 9th grade with all "A"s except for one "A-" in the third term! So, in about one month, I will be attending Lehi High School and I hope to make the girls basketball team there. Something that I am looking forward to- my family is going to DISNEYLAND in August! I still have the best friends in the world, and we love to spend time together watching movies and laughing a lot! We have a new cat in our family, also. His name is Leo and we love him so much! He loves to chase his tail, chirp at birds, play with hair bands, and of course, sleep! Overall, I'm doing great and just loving life! I'm going to try to do better at blogging from now on, but I guess we'll just have to see how that goes!

Wallets by Brianna!

I got a little instruction booklet on how to make the cutest wallets a while ago, and so far I've made 5! They're really cute, and I think they're just the right size! They have six card slots, two bigger pockets, and a zipper pocket, too! I'm thinking about maybe selling them, so I thought I'd put some pictures of the ones that I've made!

This is the one that I made for myself!

I made this one for Sydney!

This was for my Aunt Barbie! We were going out to California for a family reunion with her, and I wanted to surprise her! She loved it!

This one was for my Aunt Shelly! She also lives in California, and her favorite color is purple!

This one was for my Aunt Heather! She loves skulls and pink, and she loves this!

I'm almost done with the one for my friend Ashley, then my Aunt Tara wants one... and so on! They're lots of fun to make, and it's given me something to do to keep busy!

Bucketlist!

So I'm doing this bucketlist with my two amazing friends, Ashley and Celeste. How it works is that we all are going to do these things and as we do them, we have to take pictures. Then we post the pictures along with our success on our blog! Since Celeste just moved to freakin' WASHINGTON, our blogs are one of the few ways to keep in touch! I'm way excited to get started! Here's the bucketlist:

1.Make a bracelet out of grass
2.Go swimming at 10:00 at night
3.Get bread and feed the birds
4.Pick your favorite celebrity and celebrate their birthday... cake and all!
5.Write a song
6.Sleep outside without a tent
7.Keep a goldfish for more than a week
8.Walk in a parade
9.Fill your driveway with chalk pictures
10.Plant a garden
11.Climb a tree
12.Write a book
13.Make up a new recipe
14.Milk a cow
15.Leave your hand or footprint in wet cement

I've already done some of them, but I'm going to do them again! This will be fun!

Yearbook Camp!

Holy Camoly yearbook camp was so much fun! Since I'm a main editor next year, I got to go to yearbook camp with two other girls and the yearbook advisor. It's where we go to have tons and tons of fun, and we also do lots of work to plan the yearbook for next year! It's up at Snowbird which is a way nice place! I had never been there before so it was super exciting! While we were there, we went on a tram! I must admit, at first I was really nervous, and pretty scared! But it was tons of fun, and I'm really glad that I did it! They also had a night where we went swimming, and there was an adwards ceremony at the end! The two other girls, Kenadee and Alexa, and I had our own hotel room. We stayed at the Cliff Lodge, and in the shower there was a huge window into the bedroom! There was a curtain, but we still thought it was hilarious! There's a picture of it below. Anyway, we had an amazing time overall, and the food was even good! We got a lot done for the book next year and I can't wait for school to start so we can get started! Here are some pictures...

Schools Out!

It's been a while since I've posted, but first off, I can't believe schools out! 8th grade flew by, and next year I'll be a FRESHMAN! Can you believe it? I'm super excited! I'm going to miss all my friends a ton next year! With lots of kids going out to Westlake, I'm losing lots of people that I know! Anyway, the summer's almost already over, and so much has happened! I just wanted to put a few pictures on from the last days of school!

Track meet pics

Track has gone by so fast! It's almost over! Since I got my new camera, I was able to take it with me to our last track meet! Here are a few pictures of us having a great time while we weren't racing...

It was pretty sunny out, so by the end of the meet we were all really sunburned. Alpine Days are tomorrow and Thursday. It's like a track tournament with all the schools in alpine district. It's pretty huge, so wish us luck!

Sleepover at Ashley's!

We had a sleepover at Ashley's house on Wednesday night. We played a fun game that tested how well we know each other, and we ate a ton of chocolate! Ashley has a movie called "The 10th Kingdom" that we watched. It's close to 7 hours long with 3 discs! We started it at about 9:00 and by the time it ended it was around 4:00 in the morning. Celeste was the only one who stayed awake through the whole thing because she's just crazy, but I borrowed it and watched what I didn't see at my house. It is a wierd movie!
It has everything from trolls, dwarfs, and a half wolf man, Cinderella and Snow White, and an evil witch with magic mirrors, to Kissing town and all the popular fairytales like Jack and the Beanstock. But overall, I liked it! In the morning Ashley and her mom and a few of her sisters made breakfast for us. We had blueberry pancakes, scrambled eggs, bacon and orange juice. It was lots of fun and hopefully we can do something like it again before Celeste moves to Washington! :(

Celeste and me wrapped up in our blankets! I'm going to miss her so much!

So cute! Don't you love my Christmas blanket?!
